My 4 year old has recently started Pre-k and ever since she started solid foods she has been very picky with what she puts in her mouth...My problem is that most of the time she goes the whole day without eating b/c she does not like what they give her and the school policy for preschoolers is that we can't send our children any food from home due to the other kids in the classroom...But I don't want her going the whole day without eating either..What should I do??? Thankfully she loves her breakfast and Milk! I got a school menu for their lunch and snacks and I've tried to explain to her what she will be eating the day before but that is not helping at all...

I totally feel your pain. My sons peschool is into getting them to try new things, for instance, one day they had cabbage and kilbasa sausage. Needless to say he rarely eats. I just feed my son a good breakfast, and tell him to try whatever they ae fixing. He is coming around. And eventually, enough days of not eating until dinner, they usually learn to try things. Good Luck,
