Headstrong Toddler

Anyone else dealing with a very headstrong toddler? We had twins who weren't as determined as our 18-month old. She doesn't seem fazed by being redirected or getting timeouts. Any suggestions?

My son was born June 2. He is so stubborn. Of all my children he is the toughest. He is determined and knows what he wants and you cannot change his mind. He is also an extreme "momma's boy". He calls my name at least 100x a day and pulls on my pants when I'm near him and won't let go. I don't know if it's because of his June temperament or because he's the youngest child. Sometimes it just drives me nuts! The only thing I try to do to help him is distract him with something else. Sometimes I'll also pick him up and give him kisses, but never change my mind... no means no. My husband lets him have a temper tantrum and makes me walk away. It's hard, but honestly, within 30 seconds of crying, he stops and goes to play with something. Maybe that's the most effective solution?? Geez, I don't think I was much help. But I hope I was a little.
