I would start out by completely giving up diapers and disposable pull ups. Use underwear and training pants instead. Take her to the potty every 30-45 minutes. Sorry, I don't have much advice since my daughter is only 1 and uses the potty just fine.

I'm just about to start potty training my daughter, and I'll try the same method I used with her older brother, which seemed to work well. Make it fun by letting her pick out her own potty seat, panties, etc. Then comes the difficult bit! Dedicate 3 full days to potty training in the house. Dress her in big girl panties and a shirt, go with her to say byebye to her diapers, and watch her all day for signs she's about to go. When she does, race her to the potty immediately, every time. After three days, my son started going by himself. Rewards work well too, like a sticker chart, popsicles and tons of praise. Best of luck!

My son was very easy to potty train (by his 2 year bday he was day time trained, 2 months later night time), so I can not relate to this, but what I did with my son after a while was put underwear on him then a diaper. When he would pee, he would feel the yucky feeling of wet underwear (with no mess on the floor because of the diaper) and immediately take it off and run to the bathroom. I know it will be annoying going through a million pairs of underwear, but I feel it made him be potty trained faster. I refused to use Pull-Ups as they are too expensive and they don't do crap for the child. As for the night time; I stopped letting him have anything to drink an hour before bed and I would make him use the bathroom before he fell asleep. After a week he was dry at night so I took it down to a half hour before bed, and because he wouldn't pee, I took diapers away all together. Good luck!
