Sippy Cup Issues

My daughter is 15 months old. She will drink juice or water from a sippy cup anytime day or night without a problem. But anytime I put milk in a sippy cup she refuses to drink it. She throws the cup, sips it and spits it out, finds a way to pour some of it out and generally causes a scene. But as soon as you put the milk in a bottle she gulps it down. Any advice on how to deal with her pickiness when it comes to what I put in her sippy cup?

The cup that Amanda Sfintescu is recommending is by tommee tipee. I've had to buy these as my LO refused to drink from a sippy cup until recently. they are a great stepping stone if she's being difficult.
Good luck Xx

my daughter did that too. and it was a pain, but i took away her bottles slowly over the course of about 3 weeks she went from having 5 per day to having none. now she just drinks out of her cups. have you tried a straw cup? they have ones that are insulated so that the liquid will stay cold for hours. i love those ones, especially when i was taking away the bottles because if she didnt drink it all right away it wouldnt go bad. if you're trying to take away her bottles and are ready for that maybe just throw them all away (or pack them away out of sight) and just deal with the temper tantrums for a couple days, and she'll realise that she has to drink her milk out of a cup and do it. good luck! :)

my son is exactly the same way. i even got him sippy cups with a straw but still only drinks his milk from a bottle. for now my view is as long as he is getting his milk it doesn't matter if its in a bottle. but if your really concerned you could always mention it to your doctor.

they make a sippy that looks similar to a bottle, and has a soft nipple like mouth. I am not sure of the brand, but I seen it at target. if she takes it, use it for a while, then graduate others. good luck!
