My son just turned 4 months and is showing all the signs of teething, I also have a 10 year old, but I can't remember how he teethed. How long is the teething process?

mine's been teething since 3.5 months but no teeth yet! i read somewhere that the first tooth usually appears between 3 & 15 months, with 7 months being the average time the first tooth comes in. teething can occur long before teeth are cutting so we have to be patient. it's hard when we can't sleep tho.. my little one wakes up several times a night and wants to feed or chew on things. looks so painful for her!

I guess your right, were in the same boat, cuz my son has been teething for a month too and a couple of people I spoke to have said their kids teethed for months, I was just wondering.

The baby decides! The teething process is different for every baby. my son is 4 months also and he has been teething for at least a month, with no teeth to show for it. I have been asking around and it seems every mom has a different answer.
