My little girl Sophia still hasnt got any teeth! She's one now and although she's been going through the teething stage i.e red checks, sore bum, having a little temp. Nothing seems to be coming through, i feel sorry for her she must be in pain!! i guess what i'm asking is, is this normal for some babbies?? Should i be worried??
any feedback would be great,
thanks Bex

my son got his top 2 at 6 months, bottom 2 at 9 months, and at 12 months, he's getting 8, but none have popped thru yet. sometimes his gums are so sore he doesnt let me brush his teeth. :(

My 3 seem to be late teethers. My daughter, now 6 had only her bottom two teeth at 1 yr, my son had just gotten 4 at 1, and my youngest, who ws one 10th June, still only has the bottom 2 teeth. The teeth will come when they are ready. Don't stress about it. Make sure that you are offering her rusks or biscuits. she will rub them on her gums which will sooth and can also help the teeth cut through the gum if they are very close to the surface.. Good Luck xo

My son only had 2 teeth until just after his first birthday. Now he has 4. My doc said that all babies get teeth at their own pace. And at his first dentist appointment this week his dentist was excited at how well we are taking acre of his teeth. I was baffled and asked him why. He said that there are babies that come in at one year old and the few teeth they have are already rotten. So be glad she isn't already dealing with the pain of cavities!
