waking every 3 hours to nurse at night

Recently, my 6 and a half month old daughter has begun to wake every three hours at night to nurse. I have tried to give her the pacifier and not to pick her up, but she cries and returns to bed only after being nursed. I am hoping she is just teething or going through a growth spurt. I am hoping soon she will return to sleeping about 6-8 hours or longer at night. Did this happen to anyone else or anyone have any suggestions?

when she wakes, try offering her water from the bottle instead of milk? i did this with my kids when they woke up at night after sleeping through for a while then waking again.

And you could be right, maybe its her teeth...its the right time for them to be moving around! Maybe try giving her some panadol if shes waking distressed.
