Hello all. I am due June 28th, 2010. We have our ultrasound on the 29th of this month to find out if we are having a girl or a boy unless Little T (what we call the baby) decides not to show us. ;-) Now that I am showing I am getting more thrilled. I find myself talking to the baby. But now that I am showing & more people know I am getting tried of the repeat questions. When are you due? Is it a boy or a girl? Was this planned? Are you going to breastfeed? etc. I just smile and act like I am answering the question for the first time but it is getting old. It's sweet that people care. How do you all feel?

Cats dont need to be around babies though, because they smell the milk on their breath and can very easily suck the air from the babies lungs.
That may be why they told you that.

We are having a girl. And she was not planned which I am fine talking to other moms on the sites like this about it but it is annoying when it is other people. And now I am getting "advise" from the in-laws. My Nana-in-law keeps telling me she only gained 10 pounds with her pregnancies. But she was on bed rest with her pregnancies! The babies were draining her! I am having a (knock on wood) healthy pregnancy and have gained 21 pounds and am almost 23 weeks a long. My mom-in-law has told me that I need to kick the cat out of our room. We are squeezing the baby into our room until our lease is up and can get a bigger place. I don't want to kick the cat out of what she sees as "her" room because then she with not like the baby even more than she may already not like her. CRAZINESS. Jen Congrats on your pregnancy. Did you find out if it is a girl or boy at your ultrasound?

oh wow, I dont think that i would mind so much with the questions such as: when are you due? Is it a boy or a girl. Other then that, like the Was this planned? Are you going to breastfeed? etc that is no one elses buissness. I mean it kinda makes me angry actually, its like cant you just be happy? Im having a baby that is all that matters, who cares what I plan on doing, or if it was planned. Whats done is done and its a little miracle. So I would actually be pretty mad lol, maybe I shouldnt be, but its also the hormones.
My due date is june 29th btw have you found out yet what you are having? We have our ultrasound today! Congrats on your pregnancy.

It's just the tip of the iceberg! Basically, people get really excited about pregnant woman and babies. Mothers LOVE to give other mothers advice, and they love to remember their own experience when telling you about theirs. I know that this time, I'm going to give out less information than I did when I was preggo with my daughter.
