Wet every night:(((

My Neil has started sucking his big toe...lol.. Takes after me I guess, according to my mum as thats what I did as a baby!. Both of us were born breech so I think that's why..but he ends up wetting himself every night ... Because when he wakes up in between he lifts his legs up and I think the wee wee trickles! Any brilliant ideas???

powder or cornstarch may help use plenty it will help soak it up and hopefully help with the leakage another little tip especially when babies start learning to take their nappy off if they don't like being to restricted try using babies underwear over the top of their nappy make it harder to get off not sure if that's any help but hopefully it's help a little

My 8-1/2 month old baby boy also used to wet himself every night. He holds his urine for several hours at night and pees all at once. However, one night 2 months ago (out of desperation), I solved the problem. I started using a Luvs diaper one size bigger and a Huggies pull-up (size 2T-3T) on top of it. He hasn't wet himself at night since then.

I would like to mention that when Aidan used to wet himself, I was using overnight diapers (I had tried different brands) and I had been changing him every 3 hours (after every feeding). Also, it wasn't usually a little leak. He would wake up screaming in the middle of the night (some times only 2 hours after I had changed him) because he had wet himself almost up to his neck. I'm glad those days are over.

My baby did that every night also, but i just had to check that his doodle was down every time i put on the nappy, Pull it up a bit more at the front, and make it a bit tighter. See how that goes... Good Luck, I know how annoying it is.

maybe get overnight diapers? I'm thinking about getting some for Judah, but if your son is 7 months old.... I think it's typical... Babies pee uncontrollably.

Have you tried a different kind of nappy, like a modern cloth nappy? they are much more absorbant.

My son used to do that a lot but than I started buying him livable in a size bigger than he'd normally wear just for bed and make sure its fastened snug around the leg area and pulled up to his belly button snug before is go to bed... Even if he's asleep first is change him before I go to sleep and he hasn't had a leak since... You prob. Could use some baby powder in the diaper also to help the absorbing... Idk this worked for me maybe it'll help you

Hmmm that's not a bad idea Codie... But then I will have to get out of bed everytime he cries:(( which is sort of easy at the moment. Having said that it might disturb me less if he sleeps for a few hrs. Will give it a go ...

does he sleep in your bed? if he does would you be comfortable lettign him sleep in a crib or play pin in your room instead? they may help your sleep deprivation. and i've also been trying to give him solids right before bed and limit his milk in take at night...
how many hours does he sleep at night? maybe get him up after 6 or 8 and change him then let him go back to sleep?

That's exactly what I do as well... Bit he still somehow manages to wet himself , then gets upset when I try to change him... Not to mention I walk around like a zombie cos he is such a restless sleeper! ( he sleeps in our room)
