baby food for 9 month olds!/?

Hey people, my little one is 9 months old and I'm just looking for any kind of creative new baby blends. My boy loves his fruit, if anything is too bland he spits it out and makes that yucky face. So I need to make fruit/veggie purees consisting of at least half veggies or more with a little sweet side to it. Always using organic ingredients, and adding coconut oil to at least one recipe daily considering the beautiful health benefits & convenience for babies. Just a few examples:

-spinach, pear, and flax meal (very green).

-mango, steamed beets (fun red color)

-sweet potato, spinach

-banana, chia seeds, probiotic yogurt, (occasionally some cacao to make a pudding treat)

-various combinations between banana, probiotic yogurt and mango

Any other neat baby food ideas?

Squash ,Cream Butter, Carrots, Spinach (the kind u make yourself) ,Gerber baby cereal (Barley) add just a pinch of garlic salt .

My baby boy Loves it he is p months too

The other thing He likes a whole lot; is "Baby Tacos"

This take a bit of time but u can make and freeze (it tastes just the same as a real taco)

first take any thing that you would put on your own taco

lettuce, tomato, sour cream and finely shredded cheese put in a blend or food processor or baby food make and blend to the consistency you baby likes (with this mine likes a pudding like texture then add a pinch of taco season

next take corn flower and mix it with enough water to make it squish evenly onto the bottom of a frying pan you may want to butter or put some olive oil in the pan first squish the corn meal in to the pan evenly cook on med heat for about 3-5 minutes then flip (this will be something to practice cuz they like to fall apart but if it falls to pieces don't worry just cook it evenly then let it cool and crumble it into the mix or u can dollop the mi onto the size of cooked corn meal your baby is ready for

this grows with your child as they get older you bled less and my 7 yer old still likes this she dips her corn bake in the taco topping mix (it makes a good 1st layer for taco dip too)

When they are old enough I loved those little Berber raviolis that you heat up in the microwave... finger food...those really got us through some tough times.

I recently tried a few new mixes, my little girl liked them all. I am going to make more of an effort to give her a bigger variety of foods.

-Pears, chicken and nutmeg with a little mixed grain cereal (tastes like marshmallows)

-Peaches with cereal, coconut oil and cinnamon

-Alphabets pasta with grated Parmesan cheese and butter

-Sweet potato with halved black beans, cinnamon and ground flax seeds

-Green beans with cottage cheese and chicken and onion powder.

My 10 month old loves cottage cheese. I also give her hard boiled egg yolks. I blend them up a bit with some water or yogurt so it's not so dry. I seems like you have given your little one a nice variety of foods, I am going to to try some of these with my little girl. I haven't done too much in the way of combining things. I do give her pureed organic chicken mixed with bananas and also she loves avocados and peaches. And green beans with yogurt mixed in.

Question for you Cassandra, how long does it take to steam the beets?

I always feel like I'm giving her the same old thing, and she does tend to get sick of things after a few weeks of eating the same thing.

I give my 9 month old lots of spices (of course follow the same rules for introducing new foods) she has at least one spice mixed into just about everything, the ones she's tried so far are cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, dill, garlic, onion, and oregano and we working our way through more. She has loved them all so far and seems to love her food with more flavor too.
