Cheesy Potatoes - Not for those counting their calories !!!

This is my mother-in-laws recipe that she got from the canaries years ago - so I can't take credit, but it is so yummy thought I would share ...

Part boil potatoes as if you were making roasties ....

Place in a large roasting dish ..

Add enough double cream [as thick as u like] to come about half way up the potatoes ...

Grate a thick layer of Gruyere cheese [available from usual supermarkets] on top ..

Can use other cheese but the Gruyere seems to cook well and have a lovely taste & texture ...

Season to taste

Cook on 180 for 20 mins to half an hour, depending on how crisp u like them ..

That's it !

Soooooo yummy !
