Does anyone have any healthy recipes? My husband and I are on a diet and I'm trying to find some healthy recipes. I would also like some for black beans- a new household favorite. We also eat alot of tilapia.

A healthy recipe with canned beans.  Drain and rinse under running water a can of your favourite beans.  Add chopped tomato, 1/2 an onion finely chopped, chopped cilantro, chopped red and green peppers, 1/4 tsp cumin powder, 1/4 tsp chilli powder, juice of 1 lemon, salt and pepper.  Mix well.

Black bean sauce is sold in bottles - you will find it with other Asian products in your grocery store.  You can do the same recipe with chicken.  Don't add salt as the sauce has salt.  If you like it spicy, throw in some chopped green chillies.  You can serve it with white/brown rice.

Okay.. here is a great one that uses Black Beans.. it will sound disgusting, but I promise you, you have to TRY IT to believe how wonderful they are... here goes. Black Bean Brownies.
BLACK BEAN BROWNIES
From: WW Boards
WW Points: 2
Serves: 20

1 box brownie mix
1 can black beans with liquid
1/4 cup water

Liquefy beans and water in blender and add to mix. Blend and bake per package directions. Let me know if you try them! Everyone who has tried them has loved them!

Hi Shelly,

If you go to weightwatchers.com you can search for recipes and if I remember right they have a section where you can put in the ingredients and get healthier ideas.
