Healthy Smoothie Recipie for weight Loss

Hello Everyone....I am currently trying to eat healthier, and I've heard that drinking a homemade fruit smoothie in the morning is filling and good for you. Does anyone have any recipies for Fruit smoothies and or weight loss tips? Also is it a good idea to put protein powder in them?? Thanks in advance.

I absolutely found it easier to lose baby weight than regular weight. I gained 37lbs and lost all by the time I went back to work at 13 weeks post partum. I lost the rest back at work. Breastfeeding was a major factor for me, plus I drank "Mummy magic weight loss tea" for three months. We walked a lot and I did a lot of squats while holding my daughter.

Whip up this Smoothie...

Lowfat yogurt (you choose how much)


Fozen berries

1 tsp honey ( I leave this one out, it has plenty of flavor)

Blend up and you have a great tasting Smoothie.

Hi, my family and I drink protein powder smoothies. We first start with 1 scoop of protein powder(we use "whey" protein-especially if you are going to give it to kids) then we add milk and whatever else floats our boat( berries,bananas,peanut butter-adds extra protein) This will also fill you up because of the protein which will make you eat less  :)

Here is a good one.

• 1 half fresh pineapple
• 6 leaves of lettuce (romaine or spinach is best)
• 1 ripe banana
• 4 fresh mint leaves, optional-to taste
• 1 quarter to 1 half inch of fresh ginger root
• 2 to 4 cups water
Put in the blender and add how ever much water you need to get it to the consistancy you're looking for.
This makes from 32 to 64 fl oz.
You can add protein powder if you want as long as its not flavored chocolate. Maybe the strawberry or banana ones. I usually just do the protein shake by itself.
