Hey there so things are just genetic and you can use makeup. but sometimes it's your diet.. not enough iron or protein in your diet can cause the dark circles or not enough sleep.. anything less then 6 hours a night will cause them. Cucumbers work to a degree. I also sell AVON there is something called ANEW and the product is Eye lift.. this stuff works great for under eye discoloration.. also works on the laugh lines around the face. You look it up at www.youravon.com/kreinert. I have also found the mineral makeup works best for not looking caked and it's lighter then the normal concealer or liquid foundation. Hope this helps

Dip black tea bags briefly in boiling water, then cool and apply to your eyes. The caffeine helps stimulate circlulation (and swelling) so reduces the dark undereye. as far as cosmetics, i find that Bare Minerals in your shade works wonders! hope that helps!

I inherited dark eye circles from my German mother. These dark circles just JUMP out at you on my face. I tried the Somaluxe Triple Collagen Eye Gel with the Somaluxe Brightening Serum TOGETHER. There is so much more of an improvement than I've ever seen before! You can't expect a miracle from any cream.

If you've been born w/ them..it maybe genetic or a medical issue. If not, get more rest..use the back of a cold spoon or a cucumber slice..helps replenish moisture and tightens up the pores. Cover-up or eye moisturizers.

I usually have the same problem with dark circles. BeautiControl has some awesome products and what I have tried for other things has had very nice results and I know they have a product for dark circles. This product is a little pricey but I have heard that it works. I will be selling for BeautiControl soon and definitely plan to give it a try.

I want to also mention that to make the product stretch for a longer period of time, cut the pads in half to double the usage time. You won't need the whole patch for one eye. :-)

bareMinerals has something called "Well-Rested for Eyes"... and I love it. You put it on with make-up and you can't even tell you have the circles. I swear by their make-up now... even their foundation works good on dark spots. Highly recommended!

Sometimes it can be due to an allergy most likely in Dianes granddaughters case. Otherwise if you had babies it could be from lack of sleep, lack of circulation, hormones. a dermatologist might be able to rx some creams based on the couse you have it.

The only thing I can do for it is use a bit of concealer, but I find if I apply a bit of blusher too it draws the attention away from my eyes....other than that I too look like a raccoon most days! LOL :)

There may be a medical reason for it, might not hurt to chat with an advise nurse at your doctor office. I know someone that was low on iron and that was what caused hers.

Hmm... I was kinda wondering the same thing because I wear glasses (near-sighted) and I have really dark circles under my eyes as well that apparently no one had the good graces to tell me about and when I was asked (surprisingly) to do some modeling I did some shots without my glasses and was appalled when I was shown those pictures! Because I can't see well without my glasses I'd never seen myself clearly without them- it turns out I look like the walking dead... or a vampire... or both. If you find ANYTHING that works, do let me know!

YSL Touche eclat is very good and Dior flash backstage makeup both for under eyes works wonders. A cheaper version is also available from the boots no.7 range
