I use Ground Turkey or Chicken any time you'd use Ground Beef. I brown some ground Turkey, add a little diced onion, add one jar/can of pizza sauce and some diced pepperoni or cooked Italian sausage peices (you can also usually buy turkey sausage). Cook some whole wheat penne (or other) pasta and mix with meat/sauce mixture, pour in a baking dish, sprinkle with some cheese, bake at 350 degrees F for about 20 mins. I call is "Pizza Casserole".

So I am from up north and we have something called china man pie, lol. I know it is a funny but I love it. You take a pound of ground turkey and cook it. then in a pan put a can of cream corn then add the hamburger and then mashed potatoes on top. bake for about 25 min. at 350. it is good. you can also add any veggies or onions if you would like. and if u want add cheese on top. I don't eat it that way but my husband likes it like that.

Another great use up for ground turkey is turkey sausages: ground turkey, a little poutry seasoning, salt, pepper and a little maple syrup. Mix it all together and shape into patties. Fry them up in a pan. Could be for breakfast or a "breakfast for dinner" meal. I also love to use ground turkey in my chili.

I have made Fajitas with ground turkey or ground chicken. I like to add Cilantro, Garlic, a little Cumin, Oregano, and a packet of powdered chicken bouillon into the ground turkey or chicken and cook it well (until I see no pink). I add lettuce, tomatoes and shredded cheddar or mozzarella chesse as toppings. You can also use sour cream and guacamole. It's delicious, easy and fun to make.

My family loves turkey meatballs (just add some seasonings and breadcrumbs then fry in sauce pan and a little oil) or turkey lasagna

Turkey Burgers are great and fast!

Ground turkey
Onion diced
Mustard
Garlic
Oregeno
an egg
and a few bread crumbs

I don't have specifics on the amounts because it various to your liking of each ingredient.I grill mine and top a wheat bun with avocado, lettuse, and tomato. They are great and my kids love them

A tip- Seaon ground turkey well because it can come up bland and tasteless if not.

What were you thinking?? I only use ground turkey and if you have any recipe that calls for beef you can subsitute it.

My favorites of course becausethey are sooo easy are turkey burgers and turkey tacos. We had turkey taco salad last night.

Turkey Hash
Ingredients
1 pd grd turkey
1 lrg onion chopped
1 pd potatoes
2 tablesspoons beef boullion
water to cover

Directions:
1. Brown turkey and onion in a large saucepan until meat is not pink duh ;-) Add potatoes, bouillion and water to cover.
2. Cover saucepan, lower heat and let simmer for 30 mins or until potaoes are tender and water is reduced or evaporated.

We like to eat this w/ scrambles eggs (breakfast for dinner is big in our house)
