My son loves the crackers meat and cheese too. He gets to put it together himself and we can easily change taste by swapping out different types of cheese, meat, etc. I always let him pick the fruit to go with it, he is 6 and will eat anything if he picks it out himself. lol

My daughter loves salads and they are really easy to pack if you have one of those insulated lunch bags. also the thermos idea is great you can pack anything from soup to meatballs for meatball sandwiches

How about toasted quesadillas... with ham, cheese, tomato... or what every filling your kids like... as they are really yummy cold too...

Cheese/Ham/Capsicum/Corn/Onion Muffins... so savoury muffins... yum.

I do that too, or spread pb&J in a tortilla and roll it up. Also, I make homemade lunchables with cut up lunchmeat and cheese with crackers, my kiddos like "making" their own mini sandwiches. make sure you put an ice pack in their lunch though b/c the cheese can get a little gross by lunchtime

I like to make various wraps, mainly using lavash. His favorite lately is ham w/ cream cheese.
