Just a little light (NOT!) something as a breakfast--or anytime--treat:

Monkey Bread

* 3 (10 ounce) packages refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
* 1/2 cup sugar
* 1 tablespoon cinnamon
* 1/2-1 cup margarine
* 1 cup brown sugar
* 2 teaspoons water
* 1/2 cup walnuts or pecans (optional)

1. Preheat oven to 350°; grease bundt pan.
2. Quarter biscuits; roll in cinnamon and sugar that has been mixed together.
3. Layer quartered biscuits in bundt pan.
4. Melt margarine, brown sugar and water; boil 2 minutes and pour over biscuits.
5. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Invert the bundt pan on a serving dish, gently tap pan sides and slowly lift pan off bread. Drizzle remaining or excess butter/sugar/cinnamon on bread. Let cool for 5 minutes.

My mom used to make this all the time and it is so good and looked easy. Now that I am on my own I wanted to make it but forgot to get the recipe. Thanks!

Thanks for the recipe. I have been looking for it for a while now. A co-worker I used to work with would make this for the Christmas holiday and bring it to work for everyone. He was so good. Thanks again.
