Anyone have an easy lasagna recipe? Not vegetarian, needs beef. I used to use the one on the back of the box of noodles, but the store doesn't carry those noodles anymore lol

I have a recipe for a texmex lasagna if you want it. i dont like the italian one.

20ml oil

1 clove garlic crushed

1 red/green pepper chopped

1 onion chopped

300g mushroom sliced

600g lean beef mince

10ml mixed herbs

2ml oregarium

salt & pepper to taste

1x410 can whole tamatoes

1x40g can tamatoe paste

25ml worcester sauce

11/2 beef stock

300g pre cooked lasange

200ml hot water



WHITE SAUCE

75g magarine

750ml milk

75ml flour

150g chedder cheese grated



Method

1.make meat sauce first

2.heat oil in sauce pan

3.fry green pepper,onion,mushroom & garlic for 5 mins

4.remove from pan + add beef mince-cook until brown

5.add first mixture seasoning,tamatoe paste.whole tamato,worcester sauce,beef stock,water and simmer for +-15 mins



WHITE SAUCE

melt margarine in pan,add flour,make a roux.add milk and stir continously until thickened



TO ASSEMBLE

in gease over proof dish,layer i third of the ingredience as follow-

meat sauce,white sauce,lasagne,cheese

repeat layers

stand for 30min before baking @180c for 45mins.

9 lasagna noodles, any brand(half a package)

large jar spaghetti sauce

2 cup package shredded cheddar

2 cup package shredded mozzarella

large container ricotta or cottage cheese (whichever you prefer)

4 tablespoons Italian seasoning

1 pound ground beef

mix ricotta or cottage cheese and Italian seasonings

9x13 baking pan



preheat oven to 350

boil noodles til done

brown ground beef, drain



put a layer of spaghetti sauce in bottom of pan then begin genorously layering the rest of the ingrediants as follows:

3 noodles

ricotta or cottage cheese

shredded cheddar

shredded mozzarella

ground beef

spaghetti sauce

repeat



on top layer do not add spaghetti sauce, just leave cheese on top

bake at 350 for 45 mins- and hour or until cheese is browned and sauce is bubbling hope you like it!
