1 16oz. pkg of elbow macaroni noodles

2 cans of Condensed Cheddar cheese soup

1 ½ cup milk

1 lb. of shredded extra sharp cheddar cheese

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.

2. Place macaroni in a 2 quart casserole dish. Stir in cheese soup and milk until well combined. Sprinkle with shredded Colby.

3. Bake 25 to 30 minutes, or until cheese is brown and bubbly.

Other suggestions:

You can add ham, bacon, little smokies, or even chopped chicken to this casserole dish. You can also substitute and kind of cheese for the sharp.

This is the recipe for mac & cheese that I've used for 30 years, I am always getting comments on it's creaminess. It is a staple in our family. I do mix it up often times with a mixture of cheeses & add in a variety of different ingredients. My favorite is with chopped tomatoes, ham & broccoli or cauliflour.
