Quick Meat Pie

1 pound of ground turkey or ground beef
4 large potatoes
1 small onion
1 double pie crust (I use the ones in the refrigerator section of the grocery store)
Salt and Pepper

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Peel and dice the potatoes and chop the onion. Combine the potatoes, onion and meat in a bowl. Add salt and pepper. Lay out the bottom crust in a pie plate. Add the meat combination and cover with top crust. Poke holes in the top crust. Place pie in the oven and cook for about an hour. To test doneness put a butter knife down the middle and if it feels soft, then it's done.

My kids love this recipe and it's great for a cold night!
