Easy peesy:

Maybe try this recipe. I babysit an 8yr old and a 3yr old and make this for them and they love it!

So if you have a crockpot put in a few boneless and skinless chicken breasts. In a seprate bowl put in a cup of chicken broth, a can of mushrooms(without the juices),a package of cream cheese(cut them into cubes),a can of cream of mushroom soup and a package of McCormick One Dish Chicken and Mushroom and pour the mixture over the chicken. Don't forget to mix well. Cook that for about 6 to 8 hours or until the chicken is done.

Here is another. Put the same amount of chicken in a crockpot. In a seperate bowl mix a family size can of cream of chicken soup with a container of sour cream and a tablespoon or so from another container of sour cream,mix well and pour that over the chicken and allow it to cook 6 to 8 hours or until the chicken is done.

Make some rice. And pour the mix over the rice.

Zesty Ravioli Skillet

1/3 cup (75 mL) heavy whipping cream (I use whatever milk is in the fridge)
4 cups (1 L) loosely packed fresh baby spinach leaves
6 oz (175 g) provolone cheese, grated (mozz works well too)
1 tbsp (15 mL) olive oil
1 small jalapeño pepper, seeded (we skip these)
3 garlic cloves, pressed
2 cans (14.5 oz/398 mL each) diced tomatoes with onions, undrained
1/2 tsp (2 mL) salt
1/2 tsp (2 mL) coarsely ground black pepper
1 pkg (24 oz/700 g) small frozen cheese ravioli (about 65)
Halved grape tomatoes (optional)

Measure cream using Easy Read Measuring Cup. Wash spinach in large Stainless Mesh Colander; drain. Grate cheese using Ultimate Mandoline fitted with grating blade. Set aside cream, spinach and cheese.

Add oil to (12-in./30-cm) Skillet; heat over medium-high heat 1-3 minutes or until shimmering. Finely chop jalapeño with Food Chopper. Add jalapeño to Skillet; cook and stir 1 minute or until crisp-tender. Press garlic into Skillet with Garlic Press; cook and stir 15-20 seconds or until fragrant.

Add tomatoes, salt and black pepper to Skillet; cook and stir with Bamboo Spatula 1-2 minutes or until simmering. Add ravioli; stir to coat. Cook, uncovered, 4-5 minutes or until tender. Stir cream into Skillet. Cook, uncovered, 1-2 minutes or until simmering. Sprinkle spinach over ravioli; cook, covered, 1 minute or until spinach starts to wilt.

Remove Skillet from heat. Top with cheese; cover Skillet and let stand 1-2 minutes or until cheese is melted. Garnish with grape tomatoes, if desired.

here is a yummy alternitive to fried chicken

take chicken and coak in beaten egg
mix some flour and crushed corn flakes
place on a greased cookie sheet
bake on 375 for 20 mins then flip and bake again you might have to spray with more cooking oil
chicken comes out juicey and crispy on the outside

Here is a great home made butternut squash soup - Easy Peasy!

Take one butternut squash and cut in half. Scoop out seeds and put into a 9 x 9 square pan. Fill with 1 inch of water and cover with foil and bake 350 degrees for 1 hour or until fork tender. OR buy frozen squash and thaw or canned squash or sweet potato - that will work too. I large can. Once squash is done, cool until you can handle and scoop flesh out into a bowl. Sautee 1 onion in a pot with 2 tbsp oil in it until onion is golden. Add 1 Tbsp fresh ginger or 1 T ground ginger and cook 1 min. Add 4 cups chicken stock and put in squash. Cook 20 minutes and puree with hand blender. Season with salt and pepper. You can add cubed and peeled apple to the soup at the same time as the squash or cubed and peeled pear too for a slightly sweeter soup. Add 1/2 tsp cumin for a smoky flavour or 1/4 tsp cayanne for a kick! I cook squash on weekends and freeze the flesh in my freezer so that I can pull it out and make a quick week night meal in 20 min. Tried this recipe from LaNaya Ritson, professor of Malissa's (my daughter) that came 2 Baby Shower. We passed out blank recipe cards w/ the Baby Shower invites. This is her recipe. DELICIOUS!

Crock pot Easy Comfort Stew

1 1/2 lbs stew meat

2 (10 oz) cans french onion soup

1 (10oz) can cr of celery soup

1 (10 oz) can cr of onion soup

1 (16 oz) of frozen stew vegetables

Place stew meat in bottom of crock pot sprayed w/ vegetable cooking spray (I didn't spray).

Add soups in order given & spread evenly over meat. DO NOT STIR

Turn crock pot on high & cook just long enough for ingredients to get hot.

Change heat to low, cover & cook 7-8 hrs.

French onion soup is EXPENSIVE - so next time I am going 2 use Lipton DRY onion soup mix (1 pkg since I put in a whole onion). Couldn't find cr of onion & salesclerk said she had never heard of, so I used cr of mushroom. I used fresh vegetables: potato (2), whole onion, celery, carrots & rutabega (sp?). I also used 1 can of water, S&P to taste. I put meat, then fresh vegetables, THEN soups, can water & turned crock pot on hi. Stirred halfway thru. Was done in 5 hrs, so ate early! :-)

Another good and easy way to cook a roast is to buy the bag and season package. It comes with a roasting bag and all the seasoning you need. All you have to do is put the roast in the bag and throw all your veggies like potatos,carrots,and onions right in the bag with the roast. Then you pour the seasoning mix on top of it, put it in the oven for about 2 hours and its done. I bet you its the best roast you've ever had! If you decide to try this let me know

Cook a roast in the crock pot all day with onions and cream of mushroom soup. Warm tortilla's spread with the meat top with cheese / tomatoes / salsa / and fresh cilantro. Corn tortilla's give it a wonderful flavor.
