Simple nacho dip

1 Lg. container low fat cottage cheese (plain)

1 160z container low fat sour cream

1 pkg taco seasoning mix

1 Lg. pkg shredded cheese (chedder or mexican flavor)

Lettuce (chopped)

2 Tomatoes (chopped)



Prep time 20 min.



Mix together cottage cheese, sour cream and taco seasoning mix. Spread into rectangular dish. Layer cheese over cottage cheese mixture. Layer lettuce and then tomatoe. Serve with tortilla chips. Keep refrigerated when not eating.



Tip: Can also add a layer of chopped onion, which may detract some people, but is also good.



This is surprisingly delicious. I have friends who never eat cottage cheese like this dish. Very healthy with the low fat cottage cheese and sour cream.
