Cheesy Chicken one of my easiest recipes, good for working moms

Mix 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts in crockpot with 2 cans of cream of chicken soup and one can of cheddar cheese soup, cook on low for 8 hours and serve over egg noddles or rice. I also play with this and add some mushrooms and garlic powder. Sometimes I use cream of mushroom and chicken.

Dice red potatos( I leave skin on and make them a bite size), put in bottom of slow cooker. cook ground beef and onions(salt and pepper if you like), them mix in a can of mushroom soup. Layer(after potatos) mushroom..sliced carrots, peas or whatever you want in it and then top with the meat mixture. Cook on low for a few hours! I mix up the same recipe with other stuff...like different soup and spices or whatever.

Creamy Italian Chicken

4 chicken breast halves

1 package cream cheese

1 can of cream of chicken soup

1 packet italian dressing seasoning (mccormick for example)

1 small can of mushroom stems and pieces

Put chicken, Italian dressing seasoning and 1/2 cup of water in crockpot on low for 3 hours. Last hour, mix cream cheese, cream of chicken soup and mushrooms (optional) together and pour over chicken. Cook on low for one more hour. I serve this over either rice or egg noodles...yummy!!

Oh, just thought of this one, make your own meatballs or do the frozen ones. Put in a whole botle of sweet baby rays sauce and put it on low for about four hours makes great meatballs hot and bubbly!

I saw a pork roast mentioned but no regular (beef) roast. Here's mine that I got from my mother in law.
Put the roast in the morning (9 am-frozen) If not frozen put it in at lunch time.
Add one can of pepsi and a package of dry onion soup mix
Fill the rest to the top of the roast with water and set on auto.
Will be done in 9 hours if frozen. 6 if thawed.
I know it sounds kinda funky, when I saw her do it the first time I was like are you serious? But it's actually quite good and my kids love it too. =)

i rarely use my slowcooker but i think i should start soon.. alot of these recipes sound great. and easy!!!

for thankgiving i made lazy man cabbage rolls.

brown 1 lb ln or exln ground beef, and 1 lb ground pork, add in a palm full of garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste. 2 small yellow onions chopped and about 2 tsp of beef boullion. cook until beef is browned and onions are soft.

blanche 1 med to large shredded cabbage.

in a large bowl mix together 2 10 oz cans of tomato soup, and 20 oz of water.

in the crockpot put a layer of cabbage, a layer of the beef mixture a layer of the soup, and repeat.

everythings pretty much cooked already.. so it doesnt take tooo long. but the longer YOU let it take the better it tastes! i do mine around noonish, put it on low til dinner time.. my husband (hates cabbage!) lovesss this. and so do the rest of my family! if you want you can replace to cabbage with hollowed out green peppers and just pour the soup over top of them. thats good too!! soo yummyyyy

acutally i think i might do a batch tomorrow!

JUST IN TIME FOR THANKSGIVING.....TURKEY BREAST -you have to have one of the larger crock pots but it is the most tender and juicy turkeys ever!!!!

*this recipe is for a 6-6.5 lb turkey breast

Rinse the breast and pat it dry - rub 2-3 Tablespoons of veggie oil all over the breast - pull back skin and season it with salt and pepper -you know how much you like- and 4 cloves of garlic ( i put one on the top right top left bottom right then bottom left) if you don't have real garlic use about 1.5 to 2 Tablespoons of garlic powder- place in crockpot with breast up quarter an onion and place it around the turkey add one can of chicken or turkey broth (i use swanson broth)

Cook low

10 hours if frozen

8 hours if thawed

I love the web site www.allrecipes.com they have thousands of recipes and lots of slow cooker recipes. You can sort by rating and read what reviews there are about the recipe. I usually only look and the ones that have been rated lots of times. That way someone else has done the leg work for me. I do try out new ones here and there.
You can even search by ingredients.....just put in what stuff you have in the fridge and let it offer you suggestions on what to make with what you have! It's a great site. Try it! Oh...and it's free!

Have you tried Sweet and Sour chicken,

I put chicken or pork chops in my slow cooker, add about have a bottle of Catilina dressing, add a bag of frozen bell peppers, (pineapple if you like it) and cook low for 6 hours and high for 4 hours untill done, serve with rice. check half way in between to see if dry and needs water, not to much.

I like to make Chili and stew in my slow cooker but one day I needed to put something on and I had nothing in the house so I got out some frozen boneless skinless chicken breasts and threw them in there with my favorite bar-b-que sause and let them cook all day and when supper time came around I shredded the chicken with a fork and put it on buns and made a great sandwich... it was a big hit with my family!
