Same thing happened when I got pregnant for my son...gained the 50 again. Anyone on weight watchers that can give me some encouragement to get back on track?? I know the hardest part is getting started.I am just hungry all the time. Any tips to get me started again??

Montana! girl! I am in EXACTLEY the same boat as you! I gave birth to my 2nd child 5 1/2 months ago, gained 50 lbs and literally cannot stop eating and know that weight watchers is the way to take off the weight. My cousin did it each time after she had each of her five kids and she looks gorgeous. I just TOTALLY lack the willpower because Im sos tressed out from being a stay-at-home-mom with 2 little boys. I keep praying for the strength to take it on, and alas I still cannot. So I will be reading your thread, as I VERY much need to lose weight and need someone to KICK my butt.

I just started weight watchers a couple weeks ago. I do it online. Its really easy and it has alot of great food ideas. Ive lost 3 lbs so far! I know how you feel about being hungry. I was like that to, just remember though... The hunger doesnt last forever, your body just has to get used to the change in eating, the 1st couple of days was the hardest for me. Just hang in there :)

Good luck to you! I have done WW on and off for at least half of my life, or so it seems. I also need to get back to the grind, which will probably happen when I get back to work and back to a regular schedule. I find that I pack snacks of fruit, which is sweet and filling at the same time. If I need a sweet kick, I like the 100 calorie pack. If you use Hostess, they are actually only 1 point each, but just double check the math. If I need a crunchy item, I like rice cakes. They make sweet and savory ones now. Popcorn is also a filling, low fat treat. I believe Jiffy makes a bag that is 1 point as well and there is a lot in it. I think if you only eat half the bag it is no points, which I do not understand, I just enjoy. I also find salads are a good lunch and I like to add Perdue's shortcuts cut up chicken. Half the bag is 3.5 points and I usually add dried cranberries and slivered almonds, at about a point each for a 6 point lunch. I think those are my major helps for the moment. Oh, another favorite is the WW frozen giant fudge bars, which are only 1 point as well. I also find it easier not to have too many other items in the house so I cannot be bad. I also find it helpful to splurge on items that are already portion controlled for me. Good luck and if I can do anything else to help you, feel free to message me as I am in the same boat!

Im currently on WW and have been on and off for the past 9 months. In that time i have lost 12 kilos (26.5lbs) What i have done was stopped buying all the crap foods. So when i am at home "hungry" i grab carrots or nuts. I have found that buying great tupperware and pre cutting your veggies helps out alot. I think thats my main problem with eating crap food, its just so easily available in the cupboard or fridge. I also do the same with water. I fill up a few 600ml bottles of water and they are easy to grab out the fridge when i want one

I have never done weight watchers but want to do something to lose weight after my second was born. Once you get the weight off, does it stay off with sensible eating or do you really need to stick with WW food/regime?

I did weight watchers after my son!!! It is awesome! I lost 65 before I stopped thier program......If it helps they have their stuff online now! SOOOO Great and easy to use. It also has apps that you can use on your ipod or ipohone. Just be advised you have to have internet service on them or it wont pull up everything. The hardest part is starting! Your hungry? Grab veggies or grab a full glass of water to fight off the hunger! The 100 calorie packs arent bad either for snacking!!! Hope it helped!
