I guess it depends on your presonal preferrence and trial and error. We use huggies little movers on our daughter, we don't have many problems with them and she seems perfectly happy & comfortable in them. Good luck!! :)

I've tried them all and I like Pampers they hold a lot of mositure and they fit a little better I have found then most. Some kids break out with luvs and I found out that huggies dont hold as much as they claim.

With my first son i used huggies but with my second son we tried huggies and he was getting rashes constantly. I switched to pampers and that seemed to work like a charm. They also worked better at night time then huggies.

Pampers swaddlers (for stages N-2) and Pampers Baby Dry stage 3 and up); Do not like Pampers cruisers for the price difference of the Baby Dry. Tried LUVs and they leak terribly.

I use pampers for both my kids, I have tried all the other brands and I think pampers are the best. Both my kids have sensitive skin and my son used to get rashes from allegic reaction to all diapers but pampers. It is what works for you though, everyone is different.

My son blows out of Huggies pretty regularly, so our favorite is Pampers Swaddlers. They have an overall better fit for him, as he is long and skinny. They are also really soft, and we have had very few leaks with them. (There are always going to be some leaks and blow outs, but with Pampers there are significantly fewer!)

Right now, we have all these Huggies diapers I'm trying to use up from a diaper cake at my baby shower. I really can't wait to get through them and go back to using the Pampers Swaddlers. : P

I love huggies little movers. my daughter started out on pampers, and then went to luvs cause they were cheaper. she ended getting a bad rash so i switched to huggies and been on them since.

My son has used them ALL. I prefer Luvs but he pees through everything no matter what.

I have a daughter and I like pampers the best. I've tried Huggies a few times at different sizes and they always seemed to leak. Friends have told me that they had to use different brands for boys and girls.

I had always used huggies and really liked them, but then I tried the target brand. I have found with my 2 boys that these work just as well and are lots cheaper. But I almost always buy the huggies wipes!

I'm a fan of the huggies....the regular huggies the mostly white with red on it package is the cheapest but they are still a good quality, but i noticed with Huggies little snugglers come apart. I noticed when I changed my daughter even when she was barely wet she had bits of the inside of the diaper stuck to her butt. I like Huggies Pure and Natural but they are a little pricey and I only buy them when i have a coupon.

[deleted account]

I have went with name brand as well as off-brand and for me it didn't matter..it was the wipes that I had to get the name brand of or they would break apart, lol!

I use Luvs on my little girl and Ive also used Parents choice and store brands(knockoff?) with out a problem it depends on the baby I think (and the Mommy).I found a web site that is really cheep I get Luvs threw them but they sell most brands I think and cloth as well,I also get wipes with them. They sell other baby things. But the site is Diapers.com and if you use the promo code LIQU0168 you get $5.00 off your first buy ( I dont know if you have to spend a min. amount ) but i get 204 size 3 (luvs) and 900 wipes for $66.00 =shipping and it comes to my house. Just something i found.Thought Id share the way I found to save money on all that.

Huggies was always my preference. If your son is breaking out, Huggies has the sensitive skin diaper and wipes.

I personally use Huggies, but there really isn't a best brand. Depending on monetary issues I get watever I can offered. Best or worst they all do da same thing. Yes, there are sum dat take in more then others, but if your constant in ur diaper changing you won't have a problem.

I always used these two brands..pampers & Mamy Poko BUT i like Mamy Poko the best..i'm still using it even until today for my daughter and haven't had any problem with rashes. I've tried Huggies but it leaked on my girl n had a problem with nappy rash.

g diapers!! they're a cloth/disposable hybrid- they break down in less than 30 days, not last forever in a landfill like regular diposables. They're great if you're environmentally conscious, but aren't "brave" enough for straight cloth...liners are about $15/pkg (compared to $11 for regular disposables) but i've found that i don't have to change them as often, so i actually save $$

I have been a nanny and had experience with many types of diapers. Any store brand that I have used are very leaky and not worth the extra bucks saved. I have noticed leaking in the newborn Huggies, and Luvs does not hold as much as some.

I use Pampers on my little girl, and they seem to be the best I've used by far! You can register with Pampers.com for coupons, and participate in their gifts to grow program. I've saved a lot of money through that site.

Hope this helps! :)

if its a boy i'd recommend pampers,i have 2 boys and the huggies always leaked, havin kids is hard enough without changin ur baby 11 times a day, hope this helps xx

if you're worried about rashes, you might want to look into the hypo-allergenic diapers. I know Huggies makes them for sure and Pampers might make them. The benefit to the Huggies hypo-allergenic diapers is that they are made with 100% organic cotton and have aloe & vitamin E in the cloth (like the Kleenex tissues with lotion). My husband and I wont be having our first child until May 2010, but we have been stocking up on diapers so we don't have to keep running out to the store to buy more of them. It was funny when we bought the first package because I grabbed the Wal-Mart brand and he being the price conscious one was like "don't get those. What if our baby is allergic to something in regular diapers?" and grabbed the fancy organic diapers. So yeah. never used them, but I assume that they might work better if you're trying to avoid a rash, but as the other ladies have said, it might just depend on your child.

How can anyone like huggies?? Honestly they leak all the time. I change my son often and still they leak.

PAMPERS are for sure the best :)

I have a couple different answers. My two older children (they are 9 & 14 YO boys) and I found the only diaper that worked was Huggies.. now 14 years later, I have a 4 month old daughter, and the Huggies fit horrible and she was always pooping and peeing out of them, they also had a hard bulge in the center. The Pampers were soft/slim and no bulges. She never leaked out of her Pampers at all. I currently would choose Pampers, but it may depend on if you have a boy or girl.

I'm currently using Cloth diapers and would recommend those over any disposable diaper..anyday. They are cheaper in the long run and great for the environment. I use Kushies All-In-Ones. If you are considering using Cloth, I strongly recommend them.

Good Luck!

Huggies is definitly the most hypoallergenic diaper you can buy. You can also get coupons easily online.

Pampers were the best, hands down. When my daughter was little I would alternate and buy cheaper diapers to save money. They were always too bulky and leaked. Also certain brands would cause irritation. Huggies were ok, but Pampers brand has always been my preference. She started out in the swaddlers and ended with their training pants, they were excellent.

for daytime diapers, we use the parents choice from walmart. they are much softer than some of the other cheap brands we tried. our son sleeps about 12 hours at night and he soaked through his diaper and jammies on a nightly basis, so i went on a search for a more absorbent diaper to use overnight. i found the safeway line mom to mom supreme diapers are fantastic!! they hold about half again as much as any other ones weve tried. they are more costly than the parents choice ones, but we only use them at night, so its not too bad. they also arent as soft as parents choice, so we slather him with diaper rash cream before bed.

I have tried no name brand (awful gave my kid a rash right away), pampers (they are ok, smell pretty!), Huggies (fabulous) and Costco's Kirkland brand.... do you have a Costoco? Cause Kirkland's are the best!!! cheaper and they work just as good as those fabulous Huggies! (I don't think they make Luv's in Canada).

luvs is the best, from four children, we had trouble with the leaking in the legs when they were newborn with other brands, Luvs has two layer guards around the legs.

While Huggies fit my baby girl better and are much easier to put on her, the material is not that great (scratchy feeling). Pampers are a little harder to put on her, but she is muuuch more comfortable in them for the material is really soft. I've tried Luvs before and imho, they are exactly like huggies but cheaper.

with my boys i used white cloud because everything else either leaked or gave them a rash. with my little girl i use luvs. i think it depends on the child. my sisters have used luves on my neices. good luck and God bless.

I too am a pampers woman. My son would break out with terrible rashes if I put cheaper diapers on him. I think the materials are different and the cheaper diapers dont breath as well as pampers do...I also have NEVER had any leaking with pampers where as with luvs and huggies he couldnt go the whole nnight without getting soaked! I also think pampers "hug" his active body better. They are a little more expensive but I cut the expenses in other areas to be able to afford them. Huggies baby wipes are great though! I love the "thick and clean" wipes!

I prefer Pampers. They don't sell Luvs where I live, so its pretty much Pampers, Huggies, or store brands. I like Huggies and all, but they are a bit smaller in fit and I have a big boy.

I like Huggies the best and when my second daughter was born I used pampers swaddlers till she was out of newborns and into size 1's, when i tried to use the pampers again it caused a rash, but what i'm trying to get down to is what ever brand keeps baby dry and rash free is the best which may be huggies for me but luvs for you, i reccomend signing up on their websites for free samples and cupons always a plus=)
