What to feed my 10 month old

I am hoping to get some new ideas on what to feed my 10 month old for breakfast/lunches/dinners. He only wants to feed himself and refuses the spoon when I try to put it towards his mouth. If I cut up little pieces of food he will pick it up no problem and put it in his mouth.

Please let me what you are feeding your babies. I have done grilled cheese and spaghetti and he loves it! but I was hoping for new ideas.

Hi there Nancy,

Here are a few ideas:

beans and lentils

scrambled eggs

chopped cooked vegetables

chopped canned or fresh fruit

tender chopped meats (ground meat patties cut into small pieces, meatballs cut into small pieces)

casseroles or pasta (ravioli, tortellini)

dry cereal

toast and crackers

cheese cut into pieces, large curd cottage cheese

Baked tofu

Hope this is helpful to you.
