Ok, so I make meat loaf, hambergers, stuffed bell peppers already.

What else is there to make with ground beef? My mom keeps buying it and I don't know what else to make with ground beef... we are all tired of the meals above.

Any different recipes involving what to make with ground beef would be greatly appreciated by everyone in my family.

This may sound boring but is really quite good and a comfort food in my home.

Hamburger gravy.

I buy top round steak when on sale (cheaper than 93% lean) have it ground (Butcher will do that if asked)

I brown the beef in butter on stove. Add water and simmer for about 10 minutes.

Blend some flour in water and thicken the hamburger into a gravy. Simmer a bit to cook off the fresh flour taste.

Serve on boiled potatoes or bread with minced onion.

1 can rotel tomatoes and green chilis
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can ranch style beans
1 can corn drained
1lb cheese shredded
1 bag tortilla chips of your choosing

Mix the first 6 ingredients together. Spray a 13x9 or larger pan with cooking spray. Put tortilla chips in the pan. Pour the mixture over the tortilla chips then put shredded cheese on top. Place in a 350deg oven for about 20min until warmed thoroughly. Serve with refried beans or what you like.

For a good "finger food" with ground beef, you could make Rotel dip. I melt a large block of velveta cheese and add a can or sometimes two (depending on the amount of peppers and chilis you want in your dip). Brown the ground beef and mix it into the dip. Serve with fritos or tortillas. This is always a favorite are parties!

Tacos, spaghetti, stroganoff, taco soup, vegetable soup, meat balls, lettuce wraps... Ground beef is a highly flexible ingredient, but it doesn't have to be the main part of the dish either. :) It can be a base for casseroles, like tatortot casserole or even browned and put into a salad. Never give up!

Hi Lysha,

Our latest new ground beef idea discovery is the addition of finely chopped mushrooms and a little cooked spinach with whatever spices you like... we are cayenne and curry fans. The mushrooms add moisture and save you some money. Meatball kabobs are wonderful for summer time! I was never a stuff pepper fan... too mushy. Same for stuffed tomatoes. Another thing we frequently do is saute onions and garlic... lots... with some sea salt and then cook crumbled ground beef in it... YUM! You can eat it straight or throw it in wrap with other fresh veggies and shredded cheese. There are a number of recipes in our Healthier Moms Recipe library on www.KidKritics.com. You can get some ideas from there. If you try any, let me know your thoughts!

We make BBQs or some call them Sloppy Joes, but in the midwest, at least in my neck of the woods, they are BBQs. Good if you can let the meat cook a bit...you can even bake the meat once cooked in the oven for flavors to really come through.

Brown your beef with some onion (like half an onion to 1 1/2 lbs ground beef; drain off grease. Add a smaller sized bottle of ketchup-maybe 10 oz and add a half bottle of Heintz or Del Monte chili sauce; add a Tbsp of worcestershire and a shot of yellow mustard. Continue to warm through and it's wonderful served on buns. Can be made ahead in crock pot. You may need to add 1/3 cup water if it's super lean ground beef.

Porcupine meatballs are made with ground beef, rice, onion, tomato soup, and seasonings.

Ingredients:

1 pound lean ground beef

1/3 cup uncooked long-grain rice

1/4 cup chopped onion

1/4 cup water

1 teaspoon salt

dash ground black pepper

1 can condensed tomato soup

1/2 teaspoon chili powder

1/2 cup water

Preparation:

Combine the ground beef, rice, onion, 1/4 cup of the water, salt, and pepper. Shape meat mixture into 12 to 15 meat balls. Combine the soup, chili powder, and water in a large saucepan; bring to a boil. Add meatballs; reduce heat, cover, and simmer over very low heat for 1 hour.

alternate: minute brown rice

cream of mushroom soup onion soup mix,and some Worcestershire sauce

also just make meatballs above, and simmer in spaghetti sauce of choice, or Manwich sauce etc.

I also add spinach inside the balls for added veggie power.it works well in meatloaf too. tip chop frozen spinach in processor to "hide it better"

also broccoli slaw in meatloaf is delicious and keeps it moist.

another idea is brown ground beef add BBQ sauce warm flour tortillas and lettuces tomatoes cheese etc for a Dunsmuir taco.

tacos, mexican casserole, frito pie, spaghetti sauce can be meaty, shepherd's pie, lasagna, et cetera et cetera.

my husband uses it in cabbage rolls. the stuffing is basically like what's in meatloaf, except he uses apples for an extra flavor.

i personally don't like using beef in much but yeah...

watch EpicMealTime on youtube. it's great, lots of meat and beef and such. you'll surely get some ideas from it. just ignore the alcohol and burger content xD

Here's a really good recipe relating to what to make with ground beef: Mexican Lasagna

Brown 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef and some chopped onion. Drain hambuger. Add 1 can Rotel tomatoes, 1 Can Ranch style beans, 1 can cream of chicken soup, 1 can cream of celery soup. Let simmer for about 20 minutes. Then take some flour tortillas and cut in quarters. Put a layer of tortillas in a 9x13 pyrex bowl, add above mixture, add shredded cheddar cheese, add another layer of flour tortillas, some more mixture, more cheese. Top layer put flour tortillas with shredded cheese on it. Bake at 350 until cheese melts and just starts to brown on top. Delicious!!!. Great for leftovers too.

My husband buys ground beef in bulk, so we cook a lot of beef dishes. These are some of the things to make with ground beef:

1)Tacos! I season the meat with cumin, chili powder, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and a bit of cinnamon.

2)Italian dishes always work well with ground beef. I make my own meat sauce or meatballs quite often. Meatballs also work well in many other cuisines.

3) Shepherd's pie. Lots of mashed potatoes, veggies, and meat.. no lose meal!

4) Homemade sloppy joes

Hmm... What to do with ground beef? How about sheppards pie? Just fry the ground beef, drain the grease... while frying the ground beef make mashed potatoes... put the beef in a mixing bowl add green beans, peas, carrots, corn, wax beans (optional) mix together w/ gravy (about 2-3 cans) and put in a glass pryex baking dish. On top of the mixure spread the mashed potatoes all on the top and bake at 350 for about 40 mins or so
