Are you a school supply hoarder?

1. You get extremely territorial in the back-to-school aisle.

2. You hide your "stash" from your kids so you can ration the supplies out as you see fit ... and from your husband, because he just may call you out on your addiction if he saw it all.

3. You know that if there was ever an emergency, you could burn the boxes and boxes (and boxes!) of pencils you have for firewood.

4. You have purchased multiple protractors and compasses, and your kid is only just starting preschool.

5. When your kids head off to the first day of school with their backpacks filled with school supplies, you feel a sense of panic ... and race to the store to replenish.

6. You're still buying school supplies ... and your last kid graduated from college last year.

Are you a school supply hoarder? Kind of. I'm afraid I'm going to run out of things all the time. So I keep it pretty well stocked.

No definitely not last year I almost had to write a note to the teacher in crayon because I couldn't find a pen, I eventually found a pencil and decided that was a better option.

My two are in Reception class and yr2, so we don't need to send them with supplies just a book bag for reading and writing homework, P.E bag with their kit in (shorts, polo shirt and pumps) and their lunch bag. Buying their uniforms has been a nightmare this year though, as a lot of the schools have followed us back into wearing a more traditional uniform. There are no schoolwear shops here in town, so everyone is trying to buy shirts and smart trousers from Asda (Walmart) and they just don't seem to have enough. I got a bit possessive over D's shirts as it took me 4 weeks to get his size, I've bleached M's from last year and will buy her some more when they're all back at school and it's less crazy out there! Ties, cardis / jumpers, book bags, P.E. bags, hats and coats I've already bought from the school secretary, now to sew in all the name labels.......

Definitely not. We do have quite a bit of art supplies (paper and crayons mainly) in this house though. We have a ton of pencils with no tips because all the pencil sharpeners seem to disappear....
