Hey all just wondering if your familys talk about who you lost openly or if its not talked about? It would be interesting to know if all familys avoid it or not. There are people in my family who will talk about what happened to my mum and tell storys about her and others who you know if you bring up the subject you will have your head bitten off.

I lost my husband, father of my 3 year old. We talk about him all of the time. She doesn't understand, but we talk about her dad a lot. I talk about him with my family and with his. His pictures are still all over the walls at their house. Morgan will know her father.

Hi my family talks about Corey ( my oldest son) every single day ...i find it helps me a great deal he was a big part of our family (Oldest of 4 siblings at the time of death) and always will be. I was pregnant at the time of his death and he will be known to his youngest sister as soon as she can talk or communicate.....Nothing will ever be hidden about him

What a good question. My family refuses to talk about my mom. They usually just qiestion me on why I didn't see it coming, or how thier lives will never be the same. I wish I had someone to share all the good memories with. Unfortuanetly, noone I am close to now knew my mother.
