Well, it's been a while since I posted. I had gone from my 208 up to 212 for about 2 weeks. This week i've been moving around more and making an effort to eat reasonable portions, and it seems to have worked. I'm down to 207 this week, meaning overall i've only lost a pound since I started but in reality I lost 5.. :D

For me a scale tells me nothing. I convert muscle to fat and vice versa without getting heavier or lighter. I look differently though.

I'm the same as Marina. I have over 80lbs to loose so i doubt it would be to much muscle atm anyway.

For me, it is my motivater. If I get on the scale and even see it move 1/2 lbs, it keeps me in check for the day.

A friend of mine told me that when you hop on a scale it could be misleading because muscle weights more then fat and some people are like “I know im losing weight my pants fit different, but the scale says I gained 3lbs”
And the thing is you have to use a measuring band…like the one they use if you go to a tailor or something you can get them at a fabric store or at walmart.

I lost 10lbs and then I get on two weeks later and I gained 5lbs…and I knew darn well I was losing weight, that’s when I asked my friend who is on p90x (she is also a fitness coach) and she told me that the scale is not your friend…..LOL

Thats awesome Caitlin. Good for you! I seemed to have hit a bit of a plateu. I have been eating great, and walking....but just gained 1/2 lb. Annoying.
