How much juice do you give your 2yr-3yr old? Do you water it down? Do they still use a sippy cup?

My daughter will only drink Apple juice or Milk. I dilute the juice with half water. She drinks it in a sippy cup.

My 3 yr old son will not drink milk because he is lactose intolerated. I tried the soy milk and he just wouldn't drink it. Now,he'll drink water but I have to force him.He loves V8 splash juice. So I'll water it down to where it's really flavored water because it has so much sodium in it.I still give him a sippy cup because he likes to pour his drink the floor.

My son is 3 and hasn't really like juice. He is a milk and water guy. The few times I have tried juice I have added water.

My son is 2 and for the longest time I could only get him to take water with a dash of juice and I would put it in a sippy cup. I talked to his dentist and she told me to stop watering it down and putting it in a sippy cup. If I was going to give it to him give it straight and in a normal cup so the sugar wasn't on his teeth all day. That's what we've been doing now, and I can give him water in his sippy cup and he'll drink it. As for the juice he only gets about 4 ounces now a day.

Olivia cannot stand juice. I tried several times, then just gave up. When I was first introducing it, I used just a splash in her water ... wouldn't drink it. So she's just a water & milk girl. She uses cups by nuby that have straws, she never used "sippy" cups. We are introducing normal cups, but she likes to put stuff & her hands in her drinks.

8oz of juice a day is the max. You can water it down, or not, it depense on if you want to give more then one cup of juice a day. I mix 4oz of water, with 4oz of juice. I would recomend keeping the sippy cup for when spills are not welcome, but incorage the use of a regular cup (plastic) when spills are not a big deal.

We give them either 2-3 ounces of a juice smoothie (whole fruit ground up with juice) or 4-6 ounces of juice every other day. More often or more volume and they get diarrhea. We use sipper cups in vehicles and in the livingroom, but at the table they get regular glasses (plastic) without a lid.

She gets about a cup a day and a 1 litre sachet is watered down in a 2litre bottle, but for her I water it down even more, we have just dumped the sippy cup for drinks and she uses a plastic cup, yes we have spillages but hey that's life
