If your not ready to stop.. then dont! I nursed my oldest for 6 months and my youngest 3 1/2 months and I was actually sad when I quit nursing my youngest. I had to though because I had some problems. If everything is going good and your still comfortable with it then I give you props! If your ready to stop then try using a bottle and mix it half and half untill she just has regular milk.. Goodluck!

Will she take BM from a bottle (or cup)? or water? At that age she should be able to go without BFing for at least 8 hours while you are away, as long as she's eating solids well. If your interested then check out the FB group "hey facebook breast feeding is not obscene", there's loads of very knowledgeable women there who can give you stacks of advice on how to manage it. Best of luck with what ever you choose to do.

If you want to wean, try giving a bottle of formula before bed (formula takes longer to break down than breast milk) after a few days you body won't make the milk during the night and stop making it. Perhaps alternate every second feed and then reduce from there..

you could also try half bottle feed then half breast, eventually babies will just have the bottle... Hope this helps..

then you probably dont want to deep down. i fed my 1st son for 18 months and i knew when we had enough. why stop if its going well there are alot of benefits to feeding up to two years.
