Yes, my daughter was so stuffy, i would have to suck out the boogies every 30 minutes so she could breathe. this lasted for 2-3 weeks before her teeth cut. a week before she got really bad butt rash (her first) and spiked a fever. This lasted 3 days. Then a few days later she had her two bottom teeth when she woke up one morning. She also tugged on her ears constantly, especially when laying down or drinking a bottle.

Hi my son was the same. Apparently I have been told it makes the teething easier as they have something else to worry about(lol). Baby vicks works wonders and I also did the steam showers. Best part is it is only 18 more teeth to go!!

Yes, colds are pretty common with teethers! lol My oldest daughter had two teeth by the time she was 4 months old and she never showed any signs if teething except chewing on her fingers. My second daughter got her teeth a little later at about 8 months but again didn't show any signs. But now my third daughter just turned 7months and she is trying to cut a tooth on the bottom and she went to bed one night perfectly fine and the next morning got up all grumpy and whiney. She hasn't ran a fever but she is drooling and chewing her fingers like crazy. She has been stopped up and runny nosed too. We use the saline drops and humidifier also. Miserable times! No good sleep for her or us.

My son just turned 9 months old and he is on his sixth tooth cutting through, with another two on the way. He has been stuffed up for close to a month now because his teeth take forever to cut through. His pediatrician said to regularly used saline drops in his nose to keep it cleaned out and we use infants Motrin to help with the teething. Sometimes it seems like there is no end in sight, but I am sure it will stop sometime!

My son Alexi is almost 9 months and has had the same thing! Runny nose or blocked nose! I didn't know that at all. His brother Ethan had a body rash when he was cutting teeth which is normal apparently as long as it is not raised. Very odd symptoms for cutting teeth, it has been almost 3 weeks now and he has a bit of his tooth coming out on the bottom. He has been teething since 3 months old and now they are finally coming through.

mine did the exact same thing!! now that the teeth are cutting through it's starting to lessen tho! thank god!

Yes!!! My son has 3 and is on his 4th tooth and with everyone he has cold like symptoms. He would get a runny rose sooo bad that he would start wheezing from being congested as they cant blow there own nose and it runs back at night. I baught baby vicks and did his chest and feet, a humidifier and did stem showers before bed to help his breath better. Also they have all lasted between 2-5 weeks as his teeth seem to take forever to cut through
