I would like to know at what age you should start brushing your babies teeth, and what toothpaste is best recommended?

My daughter is 9 1/2 months old, she only has two teeth, but she has a tooth brush she chews on. Other than that, I'm not even sure lol. So I'm hoping to find out the same answer as you are. ^_^

I started brushing before she had teeth, cleaning the gums is just as important as the teeth. Orajel makes a tooth/gum cleaner that is safe to swallow and tastes like fruit. I like it the best, and my Emileigh seems to enjoy it too.. at times she will just keep the toothbrush in her mouth all day and walk around with it.. It is quite amusing to watch. But I would recommend starting the brushing soon! Good luck

If they have teeth brush! If they don't have teeth, use a wash cloth to wipe their gums clean. It's important to implement brushing after you eat or drink. This is extremely important before naps and bedtime. You don't want your childs teeth to rot out do you? A baby root canal isn't much fun! My daughter LOVES to brush. I use the little finger brush and baby tooth paste or just water. Ella has four upper and two lower teeth and she is 8mo 3weeks old.
