My 11m old has been sneezing and runny nosed for about 2 weeks now. I know it isn't a cold, she seems fine otherwise, except she isn't sleeping well (wakes up 3-6x a night) and today it occured to me that it could be allergies. Her eyes are red and she keeps rubbing her nose and eyes and is sneezing CONSTANTLY. I suck out her nose, and 2 min later its running again. Just clear and liquidy.
So I went on a rampage.. I took down my curtains, and always vacuum the furniture and floors once a week (we do have a cat)
I was talking to my mom a few minutes ago and she said to try stopping green peas (little one eats a lot, almost every meal. I give her a pea on her tray to pick up, and while she is, I stuff a spoonfull of puree in her mouth) Peas are in the legumes family, as well as peanuts..
anyone else have these symptoms and find out there was a green pea allergy?

well I read up on it, and apparently it can create similar symptoms.. so far today she is much better (last pea feeding was at lunch yesterday) I also did a major cleanup in the house and took down all the curtains to be cleaned, opened the windows while I vacuumed. She also had an eczema type rash on her back.. that seems to be a bit better today. Will wait a few days then reintroduce to see if the same symptoms come back.
