My little princess was born on March 2. I was just wondering how often you are bathing your little ones?

I just started everyother day! Now that he eats so and I tend to find food all over him! I only use a tiny bit of natual soap now though with the cold dry weather. Babies skin is perfect and I dont want to dry it out to much so unless he is stinky probable not going to do everynight. If you want to do everynight maybe dont use soap everynight!

my little girl was born march 11th and I try to give her a bath before her bed time. It almost seems to tell her "ok time for bed" she goes to sleep about an hour after her bath. plus with it getting hotter out and Rayonna sweating I think it would be nice to feel clean.

My son was born march 9th and gets a bath every 3rd day he has severe eczema and its far to drying of the skin to have more baths than that. But i also know most dr's dont recommend baths everynight for young ones its not necessary.

My babycakes gets a bedtime bath everynight - not really because she's dirty but more to keep her in the routine that we have built. Dinner, play for about 30-45 minutes, then up to the bath at the first eye-rub of the night. After the bath, I give her a little massage with her bedtime lotion and she's done for the day after that - sometimes she doens't have the energy to eat again!

She has come to expect that routine and knows what happens next. I could put her into the tub at 3pm and have her asleep for 7 hours if i wanted! :)

I HEAR ITS NOT GOOD TO BATHE BABIES EVERYDAY BUT I FIND BATHING MY 6 1/2 MONTH OLDEVERY OTHER NIGHT BEFORE BED TO BE JUST RIGHT!!

[deleted account]

Every two or three days. My 6 month old gets a bath almost every day just because it calms her before bed but I only use soap every three days. I use the soap I use on her head to bath the rest of her body. Burt's bees shampoo and body wash is the best.

My daughter, born March 21st, gets a bath every other night with betime bath and then bedtime lotion. When I don't bathe her she gets wiped down with a wash cloth. She hates her baths and cries everytime!

I bathe mine every night, even using soap that is supposed to "make baby sleep better" and it seems to do the job.

My son Ben was born March 14 and we only bathed him maybe two or three times a week, but now he's teething and drools and has his hands in his mouth all the time - so we usually bathe him nightly now. He's hated it since he was born and we didn't get him to quit screaming mostly, but now he smiles and splashes.

I bath my little one every two to three days. Her skin is great. The nurse at the hospital told us that babies don't really get dirty and to bath only every 2 to 3 days or they will dry out. Also you should use a non scented soap if you can find one (Aveno baby has a good one) because the more scented products you use, the more likely she could become sensitive or allergic to perfumes when she is older and that would suck!

I give her a bath everyday, but its usually just to keep her cool. We don't have AC but bath time is a fun way to beat the heat.

My baby was born on March 28. I don't give her a bath every night because they say it can dry out their skin and unless they are getting dirty/sweaty, which most infants aren't, they don't need it every night. I give her a bathe every other day or 3 days and then I wipe her down the other days so that she is still getting settled down fo bed properly.

DS was born March 3, and he gets a bath every other night. He's immediately before DD (4) then she gets in the tub while I'm getting him dressed. We have bad skin in the family and can't let it get to dried out due to bathing to much.

it's really hot wherei live so if she's very cranky she'd get bathed 3 or 4 times a day, otherwise it's generally twice a day and lots of lotion. she gets a rash if she sweats too much.

I give my son a bath every two to three days. I was so strict with my first and kept her on a perfict schedule. Not this time... When he is dirty, or it has been a hot day...Or when my daugher wants to take one with him....We live where it is super dry and I don't want his skin dry. The ped told us not to use lotion on his skin, so we don't....

I take my baby a bath every night...she can't go to sleep if I don't take her a bath. I live in Las Vegas, NV so our water isn't so great. That caused her eczema, so now I have to take her a bath everyday with filtered water and no fragrance at all. Mustela and California baby did the job :)

My son was born March 1st. Though ive seen alot of other moms bathing every night or other night, I only bathe my son 2 times a week. This is because his ped told me that our sons skin is so sensitive, there is no need for a nightly bath. With our first it was everynight or other night. That also tended to dry out his skin and make it more keen to diaper rashes and such. I do agree tho that when you do give your baby a bath at night they tend to sleep much better!

My son was born March 2, but because he had to go in a cast when he was 2 weeks old due to a left club foot he gets a bath once a week. For it is easier to wait until I have to take the cast off then have to worry about getting the cast off.
Since he gets his cast off night and gets his shoes and brace he will be getting a bath every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. For the weekends he is around more people other than just daycare.

I've been told it's not good for the baby's skin to give them more than 3 baths a week cause it will dry up their skin. So, I do about every 3rd night a bath for my little guy unless he has been sweaty then I will bath him. I use Johnson & johnson all over body wash. Also I was told to not use lotion on his body the 1st 2 to 3 months cause it can cause skin irritation so I haven't used any. His skin is actually doing pretty well except for a couple of patches on his face which looks like exezma. So, it's a good thing I haven't been using lotion on him otherwise it may make him break out even worse.

Born March 15th- I bathe her twice a week, in the afternoons. I tried baths before bed and she got so sleepy she wouldn't wake up for her last nursing. And we want that one to be a big one so she'll be full and sleep her regular 7 hours. I do wipe her hands, feet and face every morning with a warm wash cloth and since she's allergic to most wet wipes, we rinse her bottom with every diaper change (8-10 x day) and then blow dry her. She loves it and her butt is always clean and dry before another diaper goes on!

We bath him every night about 30 to 45 minutes before his last bottle. He LOVES his bath and it instantly calms him down. I'm not sure how often it would be if he didn't love it though. We do it to keep on a routine and it signals to him that it is almost bed time.

As I stated above, I LOVE giving Ethan his baths. He loves them & if hes a crab, I'll turn the faucet on and he calms down instantly. He knows what it is & then hes happy even after. I noticed as well that he sleeps a little better. I should just do them at night, but I get done with work at 8pm & EXHAUSTED I just wanna take my shower and cuddle with my little man & call it a night :)

You can get the Aveeno baby products in most supermarkets and pharmacies, I think I have seen it in priceline and coles. I have been using the normal Aveeno though for my son who was born March 5 and it is wonderful on his skin. I am a bit cynical, but I think it is the same stuff, they just put the word baby on the bottle and mark up the price...

My Little Mister really doesnt enjoy his bath unless its in with me. He is a March 18 baby and we bathe together every second day. I cant do night baths as he still hates water and I also have a 16 month old little girl so peace and harmony is order of the day at that time!! Ive heard good things about Aveeno products for bubs - any idea where I can get it here in Australia? Im currently using Gaia Baby Products.
