My daughter has a potty mouth, she has no respect for me and she is mean to adults. I have not raised her to be like this and I am at a loss. Is there any suggestions? Please help!

Sorry i forgot to mention something important. Remember to stay consistence. You said it, it happens. No second, third, fourth chances. We messed up that way. One chance only, not even one chance if you know they know it is wrong. She's older and she nows what she's doing is wrong. My 5yr old son was not as bad as my daughter but he ends up in more timeouts because he doesn't listen well the first time. Again, good luck!

This is an old post, so I hope things have gotten better. I hope maybe this will help in some way. My daughter is 3yrs old and she is very strong willed. It was always her way or no way. She would throw fits anywhere and anytime for any reason she didn't like. I dreaded going anywhere with her. She also would hit and spit on things or on people. So of course we had to stop her and change the way we were. She doesn't not get many choices and I always have the final say. She can always give an opinion, but I say what goes. Find a punishment that works good with her. Timeout didn't usually work so we take her toys away. Then she has to earn them back by being good and listening. At first all her toys had gotten taken away and it took alittle while for her to get them back. When we're out the rules stay the same. I'll take away toys she has with her. Things are easier now with her. Good luck!
