When my doctor told me after my daughter was born that I might pee in my pants a little when I sneezed, coughed, etc, I thought, 'nahh, that won't happen to me." But, it has! The most annoying thing is having running incontinence. i don't pee right before my run so I have a TOTALLY EMPTY bladder, I have an uncomfortable feeling of having to pee my entire run. If I continue my run, sure enough a little pee leaks out as I'm jogging! So, I guess I'm just venting here. Do you have the same problem? Will Kegel exercises help?

Both my older sisters have issues with this...to the point they always wear some type of bladder protection. The only time I seem to have issues with it is when I am pregnant and sneeze or cough really hard.

YES YES YES- do Kegels before it gets worse. I've had three full term pregnancies now and each time it gets worse. I wish I would have started Kegels with the first like they told me to, but I thought it wasn't a big deal.

That hasn't happened to me, but I have heard it happening to a lot of people who did say kegel exercises did help. Also, I did them a LOT before I got pregnant and during, so I'm not sure if that makes a difference. My guess is that it may take time for the kegel exercises to make a difference, it's kind of like working out other parts of your body, you don't always notice a difference right away.
Good luck!
