I am hoping that some of the moms here would offer me some ideas to give my daughter some more variety in her diet. She is 10.5 months old, still no teeth (yes a late teether), and she eats alot of things such as; pancakes, cheerios, yogurt, jelly sandwich, ravioli, jars of food, applesauce, mashed potatoes, stuffing... but I am looking for some more ideas... variety.

Hope to get some great ideas... Thank you ladies!

so, i'm basically going to say the same as everyone else, but the past week we've had chinese twice and my son LOVES fried rice, the lo mein noodles (cut up), the cream cheese mix out of the crab ragoons! we give him pretty much what we eat, just in smaller portions.

My son love avocados, I just cut them into little chunks! As well as bananas! I also like the mixed frozen veggies, and then just warm them up or steam them and he can pick them up and eat them! He also loves mac and cheese for a few ideas! :-) I have a baby steamer and anything I can steam to make soft he eats!

I would be careful
With fish and seafood, my son had shrimp at 12 months and caused an allergy because he was too young.

My baby loves Snap Pea Crisps. they are dried pea pods like the consistency of corn puffs or cheetos. We get them in the produce section of our health food store.

my daughter loves fish. it is perfectly soft and protein rich. just make sure there are no tiny bones in it.

I feed my 11 month old the Gerber puffs, Gerber yogurt melts & you can also buy cheese crumbles in a bag (I think Kraft makes them) I bought the cheddar, colby & monterey jack (all in 1 bag) & he loves it! I think out of everything, he likes the peach Gerber puffs the best!!

My daughter is 10 1/2 months as well, and I give her all kinds of fruit (after I take the seeds out) like strawberries, melon, cantaloupe, pineapple and grapes. She also gets pudding and jell-o. I think anything that you can tear up into small pieces should be okay as long as you are with her when she eats.

My son is 10 1/2 months old. I basically give him almost whatever we eat. He loves taco meat! My son eats bread, chicken, cheese, beef, kix cereal

My LO loves the manderin oranges. He eats just about every thing were eating for dinner. I make my meals around things he can eat and that won't be too hard for him to eat.:)

My daughter eats basically everything we do (she has for about 2 months). Some of her favorites are cooked cubes of sweet potatoes, cheese, fish, chicken, meatloaf, plain pasta, peas, halved raisins, blueberries, tofu, oyster crackers...The only things we don't give her are strawberries and peanut butter. I think it's a natural instinct to chew, even without teeth.

I gave my 11 month old baby strips of pitta bread, finger size pieces of cheese and cherry tomatoes cut in 4 for her tea tonight. I also made a dip from soft avocado, 1/2 a lime juice and some coriander (optional) and dipped the cheese and pitta bread into it. She made a huge mess but ate every piece.
Other times I give her grapes cut in half, raisins, pieces of soft fruit such as kiwi, banana, water melon & pear, toast cut in stripes...basically anything that she can manage to hold in her hand. Most of her dinners are from the bowl and on a spoon though.
Hope this helps!

You can probably give him almost anything broken into tiny pieces except for tough meat. My son only has two teeth on the bottom that just came in a month ago, and he seems to do fine with most stuff in little pieces. It's amazing how strong their gums are for mushing stuff up!

I usually give Stella anything we eat, (unless it's pizza night!) but for the red meat and tougher things I use my hand grinder and she just goes to town! She seems to like it all!!

My son is also 10 3/4 :) and he also has no teeth but I pretty much give him almost everything all under my supervision in case he starts choking. For snacks I give him cookies and Cheetos (not too often). For food chicken, turkey, a little bit of egg, vegetables (none of these pureed he has no problem chewing.) He loves french fries.
