My baby is three and a half months old and hasn't rolled over. Are most babies doing that by now? She can roll to the left side, but not all the way to her belly or to the right. Are your babies rolling over?

Tummy time really should start right away! But tummy time doesn't have to be on the floor, couch or bed! If you lay baby on their stomach on your chest and you're in a pretty reclined position this will help also! My dd HATED tummy time if it meant she wasn't on me! Lol!

My 5 month old recently rolled over for the first time and it was from back to tummy which is supposed to be more difficult. All babies do things in their own sweet time.

just give her time, i believe she will as my daughter is 4mnths now and she hasn`t started rolling over yet.

My first son never rolled over OR crawled, but he walked at 10 months and said his first word at 7 months. He is now 6 years old and doing very well in school, socially and physically. All kids are different. My younger son is 4 months old and still not rolling over. This time, I'm not at all worried. :-)

They do it at their own pace. My son was rolling everywhere and sleeping on his tummy at three months but he is also big for his age. My friends baby was just over five months before she started rolling.

Some babies don't do it until six months, others don't do it at all, and skip straight past it. If you're worried, talk to your doctor, but three and a half months isn't something to fret over. =]

My guy is 4 months old and has rolled front to back only twice...back to front he can make it to his side, but won't go all the way...some babies don't roll until 6 months...babies have their own agenda.

My little guy flipped from tummy to back before even hitting two months. He has just recently(5 days ago)started to flip from his back to his tummy. He turned four months yesterday. Ever since he figured this little trick out, he has forgotten how to flip the other way. He flips to his tummy every time he is put down now and then gets upset.

My baby boy will be four months next week and he still hadn't started rolling over yet. We have noticed when go to his crib in the morning he isn't in the same spot we put him in and yesterday he was laying on his back and he was kicking like he was trying to roll over with one leg, so he could be getting ready to!!

i wouldn't worry about that, my son is 4 and half months and rolled over for the first time 2 days ago, much like your baby he was able to roll from side to side but not all the way over. your baby will roll when she is ready,.

My son is 4 months old and hasnt rolled as yet. It will happen in time, I'm not too worried about it at this stage. The all do it in their own time.

My daughter never rolled over until she was walking!!!! She didn't really crawl either. This one hates tummy time, but is rolling to her side and then straightening up to turn herself around 360, only when I am not watching!!!

My son is three and half too, and he can roll from his back onto his belly, but usually only in one direction, and then he can't get back. lol...I think every child is different. Give it sometime, and if you're really concerned ask your pediatrician at the four month well baby check up.

My daughter is three and a half months and just started trying to roll from belly to back. She doesn't have it down yet, but she tries. She hates belly time so much that we don't get very good time on her belly, but now she realizes she doesn't have to be on her belly if she rolls.

Belly to back normally happens first (by about 4 months according to my pediatrician). Back to belly is typical to happen later ( my pediatrician said by around 6 months)
