Hi, my daughter will be 2 months old on Thursday 15th July. She was born 48cm, 7pd 5 oz or 3310 grams. For the past week she has begun biting things, including my nipple as she is breast fed...she is drooling and appears to be experiencing gum soreness. One day last week we could see what appeared to be a tooth just beneath the surface, then the next day it was gone. , is it really possible that she's teething already???

Why is it that a tooth can break the gum and they bleed then the next day it's gone? It's just soo frustrating to have to go through it on and off every couple of weeks...poor little girl

my daughter is 2 1/2 months and teething already too... it doesnt surprise me because my older daughter got 2 teeth at 4 months... and she had started teething just before 3 months... so she is ahead of her game but yes you will probably see a tooth or two in the up coming month

It is def possible...my MIL said that when my husband was born, he already had a tooth poking out!

My son is 6 weeks and teething. It's hard when they are this little cause there isn't a lot you can do. If your DR says it's okay, try a little lemon juice to gently eat away at the gum. If you are getting a callous, or sore on your breast(which I am) put a little olive oil on a cotton ball and put it inside your bra. It feels good.

Thank you Vivian, though I have also read other posts where people have had their children get their first teeth at 7 weeks...there must be something in the water LOL
