My chid is 15 months old and 20 pounds. Dr told me to put her in a forward facing car seat. Problem is I can't find one for 20 pounds!

Keep your child in rear facing til at least 2 years old and then you may qualify for a special needs cars eat which a physical therapist could help you with.

I would suggest keeping her in a rear facing carseat for a little while longer. 20 lbs is the minimum weight for most forward facing carseats. I think as long as she is not over the weight limit for a rear facing carseat she is safer than in a forward facing one. I have always been told that
it is better for a baby to be facing the rear of the vehicle for as long as possible. Hope this helps
