Anyone have any tips on disciplining 3 young boys, aged 5, 3 and 17 months. They all seem to feed off of one another, and if one isn't creating trouble, the other one is. Help?

I have 2 little ones, and my suggestion would be consistency. Our oldest is 2 1/2 and the youngest just turn one. A friend recommended "the if/then" chart (you can buy it online) to me and it has helped us to be consistent w/ discipline rather than just making it up as we go. It's a chart that is set up w/ behaviours that are typical (everything from throwing toys, to whining, hitting, defiance, lying etc.) on the right side of the chart and on the left you fill in the chart w/ the discipline your family decides upon for each seperate behaviour...because you probably wouldn't discipline for whining the same you would for all out rebellion/defiance. It also gives bible references to why those behaviours aren't acceptable. I may have made it sound complicated, but to me it really helps simplify things for both kids and parents.....Our 2 year old understands it very well and we've seen some good results thus far!

Here's a link to it that you can copy and paste: http://www.doorposts.com/details.aspx?id...
