Wow...I'm happy there are some people I can relate to out there. I have a daughter who is 14 months and a son who is 2 months....12 months and two weeks difference. Things are interesting around here. My daughter is in to everything and my son won't let me put him down. It is good to hear from other people.

Hi Shawna,
My boys are exactly one year apart. They have the same birthday! :) I have to agree with you about the interesting part. Both of my boys now are into everything, they also spilt up into different directions and I have to guess who's gonna get hurt first. They are now 21 and 9 months old now and they are the best of friends unless they are fighting over a toy.

Shawna, Your daughter sounds a lot like mine! I have a 19 month old and a 3 month old. Not quite as close as yours, but unexpected non the less. But, anyway, my daughter Abi quite the involved child! She is so curious and into everything. She doesn't play with her toys, she dumps them everywhere and then goes to find a bowl and spoon to play with. If she can climb it she will. If she can't climb it she will try. We are still thanking our lucky stars that she hasn't figured out how to get out of her crib yet. My son Zac is pretty laid back so far. I think that he has to be with a sister who is so demanding! Anyway, it is nice to see so many other people who have children so close together. Some people we know and are close to weren't very nice about us getting pregnant so fast. It is amazing to me what people think they can say to you even when they don't know you that well. Like I said it is nice to share things with people who understand.

hey :) i have a 20month old and a 1 week old apparently the pill works as a fertility drug for our family as well you'd think i would've learnt from my mother who got pregnant 5 times on the pill but no i decided to test it myself but i thankfully have 2 very easy babies im so blessed that way though my son (20months old) keeps trying to feed his sister :S so i have to watch out for that lol

Well we didn't plan on having our kids so close. After we had Mikayla my doctor put me on the pill, and when we got pregnant my mom said that she forgot to tell me that the women in our family have a history of getting pregnant on the pill. It does the opposite for me, it works like a fertility drug, so we got Lana 2 days after Mikayla's first birthday. And then when Lana was 9 months my cycle went all haywire and I didn't know what was going on. After a month and a half of blood tests and ultrasounds they determined I was 5 weeks pregnant. So mine are so close just by fluke.

Thanks...It wasn't exactly planned. Penelope was a clomid baby, we had tried for over a year an a half. The first month with clomid did the trick. After having her we didn't use any birth control, knowing that it could happen but not really thinking that it could because of all the problems the first time around. Well I got my first pp period and her comes Samson. We were very happy but very suprised. I'm kinda glad that I have a girl and a boy that way when they are older maybe we won't have world war 3. Also Penelope has been walking since she was 10 months so she is pretty efficient so that means climbing into every open chair, pulling down the baby gate and pretty much getting into everything that she knows she isn't supposed to. It's great to have someone that has been there or is there. Why did you guys decide to have children so close?

Shawna I'm with you. I have a 3 yr old, a 2 yr old and a 9 month old. My first two, both girls, are 12 months and 2 days apart. I can tell you I was so afraid that I was going to go into labour during my oldest's 1st birthday. And my youngest two are 18 months and 4 days apart. Most of the time my girls play together but like all siblings when they fight it's like world war 3 at our house. My youngest, a little boy, is pretty good but things get crazy when the girls fight and he gets crawling into everything. And it's always fun when my oldest trys to pick up her brother. Hang in there.

Hi Shawna!! I have two daughters 11 months apart. One is 14 months and the other is 3 months. I find it abit hard at times, because my 14 month always wants my attention and now that shes walking i always have to run after her and my 3 months is pretty good but now she is starting to cry when you dont pay any attention to her. The best part about it is that my oldest loves her sister she is always trying to help and giving her lots of hugs and kisses.

Hi Shawna!! :) I'm with you!! I've got a 3 year old, a 2 year old, and a one year old!! :)

My baby girl is 13 months right now, and she's the same way. I'm constantly having to hold her, and my 25 month old is the same way. They fight all the time over who can sit in my lap first!! Your kids are super cute!! Love the family pic!!

What made you guys decide to have them close together? Or was it unexpected?!
