I am new to the group and thought I would say hello and introduce myself. My name is Nycole I am a 27 year old married stay at home mom of 3 crazy yet wonderful boys. In order they are Alex who is 5, Tyler who is 4 and Robbie who will be 3 on Jan. 20th. There are 13 months between Alex and Tyler then 18 months between Tyler and Robbie. People ask me if me and my husband and we say yes but sometimes do talk about having another baby. Lately the older two boys keep asking for a little sister since they have two brothers so we really dont know what to say to them about that. Any one have any suggestions?

My daughter is nearly six and has been crying over not having a sister since she was 3 and I gave birth to her second brother... I really don't know what a solution would be either, but I just keep telling her we will not be having any more babies and even if we do it could be another brother, lol! I think eventually they will get it. Until then just keep telling. If you are done, then you are done and that has to be your own choice because you will be the one to deal with it either way.

I have three and my hubby and I are discussing number four at the moment. My eldest is a boy and the younger two are girls. Malachi is always on about having a baby brother. He knows that we are thinking about having another and although he is only four we keep him involved in all our discussions. We do explain that we cant control if the baby is a boy or girl and slowly he is getting it. I just find that explaining it all to them, even though a lot of it will go over their head is better than acting like your children understand nothing. In the end its your choice how many children you want and no matter what other people say your the mum and its your life.

I have 3 children, 2 months, 1yo and 2 yo. The older ones are 11 months appart. The baby is 15 months younger than the middle child and 2yrs 3 months younger than the sister. My 2 yo is a girl and the other 2 are boys.

Maggie - It does get SO MUCH BETTER!

Right now, my 2 1/2 yo and my 1 1/2 yo are buddies!! I hear my dd calling out to her brother, come play, come play.. and there he goes running towards her to she can shove him down!!! ;)

She is sweet and careful but a 2 yo nonetheless.

When my son started crawling and grabbing toys my daughter was about 1 1/2 and she didn't do well sharing. I napped them separately and she'd cry for her "bubba"

I am putting them in a montessori program and think I will actually separate them so they get a little independance from one another.

If they were to ever ask for a 4th - I think I'd have to say this is your family and love it. hahaha

Our 3rd was unplanned since we had an IUD and still gor preggo and I really can't imagine having a 4th to cover college for since we're already backed up needing a van... We moved into a larger home but boy.... So much to do!!! More to clean!! ;)

God bless you with three boys that close! I have two girls 16 months apart. It's a little difficult now with the baby not even sitting up, etc., but everyone says that in a couple of years it will be wonderful. I'm 29 and also stay at home.
