Hi! I'm a 40 year-young mom with two under three. Zak will be 3 in April and Kiele will be 1, also in April. Since my b-day is also in April, there's no excuse for hubby to forget anyone's birthdays! LOL

I'm glad to have come across this group - most of my friends who are 40 either have older kids or no kids. My friends with young kids are several years younger than I am and sometimes it's hard to relate. I did wish that I had had my kids when I was younger, but I can't change that, so I just appreciate that I have them now and feel blessed.

Hi Mary!

Thanks for your reply. I appreciate being able to talk with moms who can relate. I took my daughter to the library today for the infant/toddler storytime and I felt kind of odd - seems like most of the moms are in their 20's. It was a nice way to spend time with Kiele since I work outside the house- even if she doesn't under stand itsy bitsy spider yet!

Hi Sondra, welcome...I'm almost 43 and have four children the oldest is Caitlin 22, Will 19, Braiden 10 and Tyler 4. I had two choldren in my 20's looking back now i was probably too young, but still i love them dearly and wouldn't change a thing. Having Braiden and Tyler in my 30's seemed much easier and i feel much more calm relaxed and i feel maybe a better mom, even though the older two tell me i'm a good mum.

I don't have any friends who have any young children so maybe we will be able to catch up (even if it is on computer), take care, Mary.
