My 4-year old son was diagnosed with ADHD recently. He also has a seizure disorder (generalized seizures and myoclonic seizures). He is such a lovable little boy and charms everyone. His impulse control however is very poor which can be very frustrating. During classes, he needs a lot of 1 one 1 attention to remain on task. Through behavior modification therapy, we are trying to see if his poor impulse control is because of the ADHD or because of the seizure disorder. Does anyone have any experience with children with ADHD with a seizure disorder?

heya im in the same boat as you. my son started having seizures at 2 days old and he will b 6 in june and is still having them. from the age of four he started showing behavioural signs of adhd and has gotten worse. his seizure specialist wont even look into adhd so i had to contact a local company called rostrevor house which specialises in behavioural problems, they are helping me get all info together so i can have a strong case when i approach his specialist again to find out whats up. so can totally understand where ya coming from here and how frustrating it can be.
