My son was born with exzema...when he was 3 weeks old they told me he was a collic baby...6 months later they do an x-ray and discover nope its Acid Reflux. Ayden continually had upper respritory problems and we got a nebulizor. At 11 months old they put my lil boy through Allergy screenings...they found that he is allergic to the dander on dogs and that he has asthma...he is on zantac for his acid reflux, aquafur bath lotion for his exzema, and when he needs it pulmacourt and allbuteral for his asthma... is there anyone else who has a child like this...i feel like i shouldn't take him out cuz when i do he comes in all conjested...

We have battled asthma and allergies with my daughter since she was about 2 monts old. When she turned 2 yrs her pedi put her on a singulair once a day and it has been amazing. She hasn't been to the dr in over 4 months ( which is GREAT for her) and hasn't use her nebulizor in over 2 months. I have it on hand and ready that way if she ever sounds weezy I can give it to her. Her pedi also told me that while taking singulair if she shows any signs of allergies that it is ok to give her claritin for 3 or 4 days, but we haven't had to use it yet. I never took her to have allergy test done. All I can say is that singulair is the best thing we could have found for her. She is like a totally different child since she has started taking it.
