Give her time to grow into her features and colors, they change so much as the months go by. I'm white and my husband is black, my son came out looking completely white. Now he is darker and looks just like his dad, when he was born he didn't look like either of us. Have patience.

When my daughter was born her hair was very dark and straight, she was also very light skinned. it wasnt til about 6-7 mths when her hair started to get real long and started to get real curly.. her skin started to get darker as she got older, she is 18mths now and has a caramel complexion. I am white and her father is black and dominican. It just all depends on the genetics in ur family and babies change so much as they grow.

I am white and my daughters father is african. She was born with stright black and like other replies in this post it started to curl when she was 9 months old.

her hair is straight only for now believe me. my baby had bone straight hair until he was about four months, and then it suddenly turned to big fluffy curls.

my son is half black and half white and he had straight hair until he was 8 months. a woman at my son's daycare just had a half chinese and half black baby in august and they have straight hair. it might curl, it might not. there's really no way to know

I'm white and my husband's black. My daughter just turned 9 months old, and her hair just recently started to curl. It's at that crazy in between stage where there's nothing I can do to make it look good. It's flipping out a little in the back, and now it's starting to curl on top. It's really curly when wet, but when it dry's, it's a really loose curl which looks more like it's just sticking straight up. On the sides her hair is still really straight.

she is only 2.5 weeks. You have to wait a while, my baby's hair is still pretty straight although her dad and I both have curly hair. By the time she is two you will know for sure. I have a friend who is half white and half Haitian and he has straight brown hair, his sister curly blonde hair. But his dad was very light skinned with green eyes and wavy hair. It depends on how "black" your partners family is really. And if there is anything on your side to match up with it.

im white and hispanic also and my husband is black but his skin is not very dark. my sons both came out looking very light with straight hair. i have a 2 year old and a 7 month old. their skin tone looks like me when i've got a really good tan. people still tell me they look like thier dad though. when my first son was born my best friend said wow i thought he would be black. so to get to my point yep that happened to me. but your baby is so young she is going to change so much in the next few weeks. my husband has a twin brother and my niece looked just like my son when she was born and now she is way darker then him. and she has super curly hair. not that any of that matters. i think though sometimes when the baby comes out so light you wonder what other people must think. sorry for rambling lol

My daughter is mixed. I am white and her dad is african. When she was born she looked just like her dad but was as white as me. She did not have alot of hair but is was dark and straight. Now she is dark skinned and has the thickest curliest head of her you can imagine. But she looks more like me now. Kids features will change in their own time. Your daughter is adorable ( i checked out your pics.). Cherish your bundle of joy and be amazed at how much she will change from year to year.

I'm black and my husband is white and persian so he had a little tan when he was younger but now just looks white. Our baby is a few shades lighter than me and to most people he looks puerto rican because of skin tone and he also has straight hair but my hair was straight when I was born and eventually got curly and my husband's hair has always been straight. So I have no idea how his hair is going to end up
