My daughters hair is soft and curly, it CAN be very beautiful when I have the time other days it just seems wild and out of control. I've noticed her hair seems like it has not grown past her shoulders. She is going to be 3 in July and I just don't understand how it seems that it's not growing longer. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

My younger daughter was the same way! Both of my daughters have very curly hair. It will get longer, just give it more time. When her hair is wet it goes all the way down to her but but when it is dry it poofs up like don king!!! lol. I LOVE it though! :D

My eldest daughter, also biracial is 3 1/2 and I had noticed the same thing with her hair a little while back. When wet her hair is mid way down her back but once dry it curls right up and looks very short. My hubby and I decided to get her hair trimmed to see if this helps. It's only been about 3 weeks and already her hair is sitting nicer and longer looking. We do the same as the ladies above mentioned, comb when wet and us a leave in conditioner or detangler! Hope that helps a little.

Thank you ladies! Her hair has yet to be cut and I had been thinkiing about getting her ends trimmed since that might be what she does need. thanks so much for the help!

im bi racial myself and i have the same problem with my hair i jus had to learn to style it how it wants to be styled on those wild out of controll days try wetting it and using detangler and just putting it in ponytails and let her sport the curls thats what i do formyself just wet it and ponytail and it loks nice and is easier to comb when wet and about the growth i had a fro for a couple years then all of a sudden it grew long but i also have bi racial sisters whos hair never got really long so it can go either way but also see if her ends need to be clipped and if they do that might be whats stopping it and jus a little off the end might jumpstart the growth.

hope this helps
